2026 Corolla Cross Roof Rails: Choose the Crossbars as a Separate Kit
2026 U.S. Corolla Cross gas L, LE and XLE, and Hybrid S, SE and XSE. The genuine crossbar fit list and roof-carrier cargo limit are separate checks.
If you want Toyota’s genuine crossbar setup for your Corolla Cross, start with a rail-equipped grade. The roof rails and crossbars are separate pieces: PT767-16220 supplies front and rear bars that mount to the rails. Toyota’s exact 2026 fit list names gas LE and XLE, and Hybrid SE and XSE. A roof-rail label alone does not identify an installed crossbar kit.
Check the grade before choosing the bars
Toyota exterior illustrations identify the six grades. They do not show a specific vehicle in stock or confirm that crossbars are installed.

Match the kit to the exact 2026 configuration
The accessory record is useful because it gives model-year codes, rather than only a Corolla Cross name. Its six 2026 codes match the rail-equipped configurations below. Toyota marks the kit as non-universal fitment, so another Toyota model or an older grade entry is not a substitute for that match.

Rails, bars and the carrier need different answers
The installation guide positions the crossbars over the side rails with bolts aligned to their threaded mounting holes. It identifies front/rear and left/right stanchions. Confirm the part number and completed installation against that guide; loose bars or a photograph of the rails do not establish the installed setup.
Before choosing a box, bike mount or other carrier, compare its exact attachment requirements with this installed kit and obtain the carrier maker’s instructions. This guide establishes the Toyota bar fit; it does not approve an arbitrary carrier or provide a universal clamp or bar-spacing specification.
Keep the 75-lb cargo limit with the loading plan
Both manuals say not to exceed 75 lb (34 kg) of cargo on the roof luggage carrier. Keep that wording attached to the number; it is not a larger cargo allowance inferred from the bar kit. The vehicle’s axle and total-weight ratings still apply.
Distribute the load evenly between the front and rear axles, keep long or wide cargo within the vehicle’s overall length and width, and securely fasten it before driving. Roof cargo raises the center of gravity: avoid high speeds, sudden starts, sharp turns, sudden braking and abrupt maneuvers. If driving for a long distance, on rough roads or at high speeds, stop periodically to check that the cargo stays in place. With a moonroof, take care not to scratch its surface when loading.
Choose the rail-equipped configuration and verify PT767-16220 fit first. Then resolve the actual carrier’s attachment requirements and loaded cargo weight before making the roof setup part of your purchase decision.
