The 2017 Toyota Camry is expected to arrive soon, and although details are speculative, this upcoming launch is causing quite the stir in the automotive community. The 2017 model is expected to make its debut soon, with plenty of bells and whistles to keep Camry fans intrigued. Toyota still has time to reveal and confirm details, but we have gathered some potential information based on recent rumors surrounding this Toyota classic.


 

Trims

Drivers can look forward to four trim levels for the Camry: LE, SE, XLE, and XSE. Each offers something a little different for the consumer, from the entry-level LE to the supremely luxurious XSE. The SE will deliver a sportier experience for the auto enthusiast, while the XLE brings leather upholstery in to the cabin for extra refinement.


 

Performance Changes and Fuel Economy

Drivers who choose the Camry tend to prefer a reliable, fuel-efficient engine rather than a powerhouse ride, but the 2017 model has something for every driver. As usual, the Camry will likely offer a four-cylinder engine that pumps out 178 hp. But, the XLE and XSE trims are likely to offer a V6 power with an astounding 268 hp. We are also likely to see the Hybrid model with 200 hp for the eco-friendly driver.

The four-cylinder engine should generate 25 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, and the V6 engine should earn 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. Meanwhile, the Hybrid could deliver 43 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway.


 

Design Changes

The 2015 remodel was so successful that the Camry requires little improvement, but the 2017 model does add a few changes. Expect premium interior upholstery, cutting-edge technology, and optional wireless charging. The Camry now exhibits a fresh and young look, making it more appealing to young drivers. While many aren't expecting big changes, we still have yet to hear Toyota's official word.

Features

There are talks of a special edition 2017 Camry to mirror the 2016 special edition. Likely features would include standard navigation, specialty styled wheels, leather and upgraded material for the seating and dashboard, and more standard technology than non-special edition trims.
