During this year's CES 2014, Toyota took the wraps off its Fuel Cell Vehicle that's headed for production and will reach the market American market by next summer!
As revealed in the video below, the FCV is Toyota's first zero-emissions vehicle as it uses oxygen and hydrogen stored in the vehicle to generate electricity. The only by-product of this process is water! Unlike other hybrid vehicles on the market, the Toyota FCV is fully-fueled in 3-5 minutes with a driving range of over 300 miles.
Toyota's FCV isn't just a concept vehicle though. It's been tested and has proven its durability in harsh climates from extreme heat to freezing temperatures. As you can see, Toyota is committed to engineering environmentally conscious cars for our next-generation of consumer. Until the FCV arrives at Elgin Toyota Scion, please visit us at our Elgin, IL dealership to test drive a new Toyota car, truck or SUV model.
