Toyota takes driver safety very seriously and regularly holds clinics for teens to help them be safe, respectful, and confident drivers. They also hold sessions for adults to teach them how to be good driving teachers for their teens, because, as we all know, it's not always the younger drivers who could use a bit of aid.
While most adults may have gotten over the lead foot of youth that doesn’t mean they still don't have questionable behind the wheel habits. In fact, their confidence on the road can often encourage them to check their phones more, and "students" are quick to pick up on this behavior.
That is why Toyota put out this humorous (but serious) ad to highlight the issue and gently remind parents to check in on their own driving habits as well!
