Toyota held a new kind of competition to show off their newly redesigned truck. It's an off-roading adventure contest pitting three teams against each other in events of strength and endurance... but the winners are not the strongest, or most enduring competitors.
The winning team is the pair having the most fun.
They used real neuroscience to interpret electrodermal readings collected by a wristband each competitor wore, and assigned point scores adding points for fun, and losing points for stress.
In terms of fun, everyone was a winner-- but only one team got to walk away with the top score, and the honor of being the first Fun Games champion.
