Toyota's latest innovation is coming to showrooms fall 2016. The all-new 2017 Prius Prime is Toyota's latest-generation plug-in hybrid fully equipped with LED lighting, an aerodynamic shape for more MPG and a larger battery pack -- 8.8. kWh to be exact -- to extend your EV range.
What happens when the battery pack runs its course? When it's in need of a charge the Prius Prime will seamlessly shift back into hybrid mode so you can continue to your destination. With all-electric driving you can maximize your mileage with an anticipated 120 MPGe and up to 22 miles of electric driving. Tech-wise the Prius Prime features an 11.6-inch multimedia screen, Qi wireless charging and Toyota's Safety Sense Package -- Toyota's active and passive safety features.
