Recently, Toyota and Discovery Education revealed that the 2018 TeenDrive365 Video Challenge -- now in its sixth year -- was inviting teens to submit an original Public Service Announcement that focuses on engaging in safe, aware driving habits. Submissions should be between 30 and 60 seconds long and aimed at an audience of students in grades 9-12.

A panel of jurors, comprised of educators, community leaders, communications experts and Toyota representatives, will gather to select the winners. This year, the prizes include:

  • The Grand Prize -- $15,000 in cash and the opportunity to work with a Discover film crew and reshoot their entry to make it TV-ready
  • Second Place -- $10,000
  • Third Place -- $7,500
  • Fourth through Tenth Places -- $2,500 each
  • Four Regional Prizes of $1,000
  • People's Choice Prize, which is chosen by an online vote -- $5,000 plus a trip to attend the taping of a show that airs on Discovery Communications' Velocity Network

At Elgin Toyota, our entire team is proud to serve drivers from the Schaumburg, St. Charles and Arlington Heights areas.
